As we mentioned a few days ago, we have been working on the new site, with improvements, new functions, optimizations, among other peculiarities.

Next, we detail what has been worked from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 December:

Already done:

• Server optimization to high quality.
• We change the website theme for a lighter one, oriented on performance and positioning.
• We completely create all the display templates for products, categories and labels.
• We changed the search engine for a new one based on Ajax. Much more agile and efficient.
• We added the download button in the product grids, to save time and make the download experience much more pleasant.
• We create the product metadata in the grids for a better experience.
• We completely create all sections of the site, such as theme section, plugins, changelog, etc.
• We create segmentation and specific search filters. This means that when accessing the “topics” section, after using the search system, it will only return results associated with “topics”, thus improving the search and work experience. The same for the “plugins”. The home search engine and other sections will perform global searches as usual.
• We created a section called “brands”, where you can review the authors with whom we are currently working, and after clicking on each one, see all the products associated with it.
• We configure daily backup systems that do not impact server performance and we improve the antivirus and firewall system.
• Unfortunately, since some users have flagged our mail about new product updates as spam, this feature that many love will be restricted to only one delivery per week, which will be on Fridays.

 

We are still working

• We are in the process of restructuring content. This is why certain texts are wrong, as well as some old codes and certain “scribbles” from old theme. All downloads are working, but we continue to update each of the products to remove the “junk” from the previous theme.
• We continue to structure the labels to correctly segment all the products in the store, eliminating some that are not useful and regrouping everything.
• We are in the process of renewing many of the contracts, so in the next few days, we will add new products and eliminate others.
• We will no longer work the registration process with social networks, due to the continuous changes in the different networks, so we are checking all and working in everything related to this point.
